The Perfect Post-Workout Beer?!

Leonel Carmona 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Summer is here and beer commercials are taking over. My question to you Mr. Lobliner is whether there are any benefits to consuming alcohol (beer) post-workout? I won't mention the beer company name but I'm sure you know which one has been pushing its product as the "perfect calorie/carb" to reward yourself after a workout. I don't fall for it nor do I consume beer but know plenty of "bro science peeps" have been misinformed. Can you give me your thoughts on this! Thanks for all the damn good honest information you provide to your followers! -because being misinformed and making gains IS NOT A GAME!!!

YouTube or Podcast?

Matthew Samansky 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Hey Marc, your YouTube presence is second to none and I look forward to future content on the Machine Mindset Podcast. In your estimation, does one outlet (YouTube or Podcasting) provide any greater benefit in regards to reaching a wider audience for fitness broadcasting? Thanks for all you do!

I don*t want to loose my gains while pursuing a career

snimbratt 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

As for most of us, the thought of loosing gains is probably correlated with some degree anxiety? In times of high work load outside the gym, how little can I train/week and still maintain? So that I can optimize whats's, at that time, most important?

Some studies claims that you need half the volume to maintain, in relation to gain, your current muscle mass. Thoughts?
