Do you know of any supplements that can aid in repairing damaged nerves?

cdann58 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

I broke my humerus and it stretched my radial nerve. Now I have no use of my hand. The Dr. said it could take 6 months to a year to heal.

Thyroid Cancer

Walter April Morrison 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Im 33 years old and fighting thyroid cancer. I used to lift like crazy when I was younger but do to my hyperthyroidism never gained much. Now I feel my passion rejuvenated, I don't want to feel like my Cancer has complete control over me but without a thyroid, pituitary gland or parathyroids do I have any hope of gaining my strength back and being better than I was before and will my body now pack on the muscle it refused to for so many years?

4 Day Split for Athleticism and Strength

beauregard derekj 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

I am a bodybuilder at heart but with the height and weight standards strictly enforced in the Marine Corps I need to tailor my goals to include a little bit of everything. As much as I want to be huge, at 5'10" my max weight I am allowed to be is 191 lbs. I train for strength and athleticism and I like to finish my workouts with bodybuilding style training. I focus on squats, deadlifts, bench and have recently started to include Olympic lifts in my training for the athleticism piece.

What is the best 4 day split, in your opinion, to obtain these goals? Do I need to dedicate a day for Olympic lifts?

I was thinking chest and shoulder day, back day, Olympic lift with a full body circuit day, and then leg day. Arms and abs whenever and wherever I feel like.

Hybrid of Bodybuilding and Crossfit

Alec 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Hey, Marc, I love the DropfactorBook and the workout split inside the book. I follow it extremely closely with only a few modifications to better incorporate some CrossFit style training. What would you recommend to someone who is trying to get the muscular size and power of a bodybuilder but still maintain the aerobic capacity and athletism of a competing cross-fitter? Basically, how can I make the gains but still be able to compete well?
