Losing Grip During Sets

Daniel Tapia 7 years ago updated by CJbear2016 7 years ago 1

Hey Marc, I've noticed when doing heavier weight pull exercises like deadlifts and I start to lose grip strength towards the end of my set.  The bar almost seems to roll out to my fingertips.  I've tried going with gloves, sans gloves chalk etc. with no real improvement.  Unfortunately this keeps me from going heavier and doing more reps per set.  Any idea what I can do?  Thanks!

CJbear2016 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

i am currently doing the core 4 training program. Often times the program can take me anywhere between an hour to an one and a half hours per session. Is this to long and will this affect the effectiveness of the program.

Overeating at family events

CJbear2016 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Dear marc. I am on a reverse diet folliwing a flexible dieting style. I thought this method of dieting would help me curb my tendency to over eat but i can't seem to be all that flexible. I am good at fitting in one restraunt or party but when ever i am with my family I have tendency to indulge and go far over my macros. How much will doing this set me back and will the occasional bout of overeating kill my progress.

Splitting Up Cardio

The Sorce 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Any benefit to splitting up cardio in the day? For example, taking Ritual AM & drop factor and doing 20 mins of morning "fasted" cardio and then about 12 hours later doing another 20 mins post workout.
