Casein vs .concentrate vs. isolate

Hunter 7 years ago updated by andy 7 years ago 2

in your opinion, what is the best  type of protein powder to make the most amount of gains. And also, would it be beneficial to take a casein before bed or when your not eating any food for an extended amount of time?

Answer

Casein has a lower biological value, so forget that crap. Unless eating ONLY protein powder, speed is irrelevant. All SCAM marketing!

Chest is chest. There is no lower chest, just a chest. You just have too much ft there. For chest, train it--presses and flys! For diet see dropfactorbook.com

If injured, I would avoid pressing and stick to lateral raises, etc. For bench, use dumbbells. Barbell is not the best for shoulder health

Weak Bench

mlsr3499 7 years ago updated by andy 7 years ago 2

When bench pressing or doing unilateral dumbbell presses, my left side always gives out prior to my right.  I feel like it is hindering my progress on my flat bench press and was wondering if you have techniques or workouts that would help?

Answer
andy 7 years ago

You need to train them unilaterally PLUS see a specialist. If that bad on one side, could be a nerve issue.

IMO you only need Machine fuel intraworkout. Things have advanced a lot since Gironda

Macros, Weekly or daily?

Kyle C. 7 years ago updated by andy 7 years ago 2

When tracking macros, is there a difference of hitting you goal daily or weekly?

Basically if you go over one day, can you compensate for it the next day?

Answer
andy 7 years ago

I prefer daily, I don't like the compensation thing. You want to promote a healthy lifestyle. Compensating will lead to a binge-starve mentality
