How much fiber should I eat per day? Is there a limit? And is there any benefits towards fat loss?

How much weight should I lose to recalculate my calories?

Brick 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

I stared at 286 a good 4 months ago with my strength low, now im at 279 and i feel my strenthg is way stronger (bench started 225lbs 5x7 now 315lbs 5x5 squat start 225lbs 5x7 now 405lbs 5x7 curl 25lbs 5x7 now 50lbs 5x7 etc.) How much more should I lose then recalculate my caloric deficit and will I lose alot of strength while trying to drop a good 40-60 lbs fat? I hear building muscle will help boost metabolism and burn more fat, am I on the right track?

Food/drink going straight to waste.

NatJoo 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Wondering about excess intake of food and drink calories going to waste rather than being absorbed.  Personally doing old school bulking for months on end and observing other having huge cheat meals or binge drinking of high calorie beer, it seems there is a point where this excess is going almost entirely to waste with little absorption of calories/nutrients.  Obviously 5000+ calorie binge eating/drinking doesn't fit well into a health lifestyle, but it also is obvious that your body is expelling much of this for some people without huge swings in weight. Any thoughts on this, and can it be accounted for while doing a macro/calorie based diet.
