What causes cramping? What can I do to avoid cramping?

Ryan G. 7 years ago updated by Nadia Mazzaferro 7 years ago 1

Cramps. When I workout, I can squeeze pretty much any major muscle into a cramp. My workout style is that of moderate weight, hold and squeeze, until it burns like mad... and go at it HARD (i.e. sweaty mess). This works great for me in terms of gains, albeit when I don't cramp up... but lately it's been getting worse. I'm wondering if there is something lacking in my diet or style that needs to be altered. Thanks!

Can long term use of preworkouts be unhealthy?

Brett 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Hey Marc! I've got a question for you about long term use of preworkouts throughout your life. I take breaks every once in awhile like you should, but don't plan on stopping cuz I love using preworkouts. Im 26, could long term use be unhealthy?

Kids lifting

Cfortman 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

My son is 3 years old. He loves to watch me at the gym and copy my movements. He has his own little weight set for kids that we can practice his technique.  At what age did you let ur kids start adding weight? And I don't mean adding 45lb plates but a heavier bar?

Lost 10 lbs in a month...

Kevin Escobar 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

I had to take a month of training because my career was going into high speed and I lost 10 lbs in that month from only having time to go out for a run. Now that I have time to go back to the gym and lift weights I kind of like staying home and just being a lazy fat ass... Anyway, what do you recommend I do to basically start over in working out?

Machine Fuel

Brice Baughn 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

I normally work 4 days one week and 6 days the next at my industrial job. It is very intense job. According to my Fitbit watch I burn between 3,200 to 4,000 calories every day I work. Would u suggest the Machine Fuel be beneficial on days I work but do not hit the gym. If so is it better taken am or pm...Curious as to if it be a wste or not..

Thanks for your time and your answer

Take Pre-Workout or Intraworkout

marc k olson 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Hey Marc, if you had to make a choice to either take a pre-workout like Clash of Fury, OR a BCAA Intraworkout like Fuel or ABC, which would you choose and why.  Which do you feel would be more beneficial towards muscle gains if you could only pick one or the other.

Thanks!

Hello Mark,

How can I maintain most of my muscle mass if I must take a break from lifting for a while because other issues got in the way?

Simon 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Should your new sleep aid product be cycled or used everyday?  i love the product ingredient profile like gaba and the dosing of that supplement is brilliant, but is melatonin usage ok for continuous use? thanks.

Heavier guys taking suplements

Carlos 7 years ago updated by Marc Lobliner 7 years ago 1

Hello Marc! I wanted to start out by saying that I am a heavier male. Im 20 years old, 5'9 260 pounds at 38 percent body fat. Im thinking of buying a test booster, BCAA, Bio Gro, as well as a protein powder. I want to buy these and make a big push to get down to a lower body fat percentage. I want to know if buying those things will be a waste of money. And if I shouldn't buy those things until I get to a lower body fat percentage.

Thank you!
