Workout Frequency
Hey Marc, so I go on sites all the time looking for the perfect training routine with the proper frequency and time for recovery. Lately I've been sticking to your articles and routines because they are much more personalized compared to the the mostly generic bodybuilding.com ones. I've been going back and forth between routines and find it hard not to have myself in the gym daily as I love it so much. As a 19 year old college athlete, can I really benefit by giving myself more rest through the week and lifting 4-5 times? I've been looking at the 12 week mass plan, 4 week powerlifting / bodybuilding routine, and the core 4. I love lifting daily, but can I actually maximize my strength gains and progression by focusing on a 4-5 day split rather than a 6 day push/pull/legs? I know I'm not the only one who might be slowing down my progress by overdoing it as I see teenagers and young adults working out 6-7 times a week as well.
4 days is plenty for most people, but experiment and see how you respond to 5 days a week!
Favorite training facility?
Hey Marc, where is your favorite place that you have had the chance to train at? I always love training in New gyms when I am traveling for work or on vacation.
