Old guy and supplements

Jeffrey Waters 7 years ago updated by andy 7 years ago 3

hey mark I am 47 years old and been working out for 1 year. I have made great progress in strength and seem to show a lot of detail in my muscle but as for gain they seem to be very little and I am really pushing myself in the gym. My question is because of my age should I take a testosterone booster to help or what? My strength gain are something like I started last may so my bench went from 105 for very little reps to this may I am pushing 265 for 3 rep max. Can you give me any insight on this?

Are sugar alcohols healthy and how do you track them as far as calories?

Sean 7 years ago updated by andy 7 years ago 2

Is it healthy to consume sugar alcohols when trying to keep carbs low? Most sugar free products have them and they also don't seem to add up in the calorie total. Are they "free macros"?

They DO count as carbs, no matter what those hippies say! They are "healthy", but THEY COUNT!
