insurance companies paying for gym memberships

I feel like if insurance companies started paying for gym memberships or giving a discount on them, it would attract to people to become more active. Customers who exercise regularly are generally less likely to suffer from costly medical ailments including diabetes and heart disease. So discounting gym memberships pays off for insurance companies over time.

I think insurance companies want to make money. If this led to more money, they would. Very few people who have gym memberships actually use them, so entitlements will not cure laziness. If one PAYS for the gym they will be more likely to use it!
