Deadlifts at the beginning or end of a back workout?

I've just recently started getting serious about conventional deadlifts and I was wondering your opinion on whether to do them at the beginning or the end of a back day? Or if they should be done on leg day? Thanks!

Whatever you prefer--I do them on their own day since they are such an important lift!
