Why do some people with a 6 pack not actually have core strength

Why is it that some people who have a great looking six pack can't preform certain movements like a squat with out falling forward and they can't hold a proper plank for very long? while others who "don't even look like they lift" have so much more strength in their core

Low body fat and development isn't always 100% correlated to strength. Just like some of the best athletes aren't the most lean and muscular appearing and why Powerlifters don't look like bodybuilders (usually)
